Instructional videos

This is my instructional video about pressure.

  1. I liked the choice of experiment and the principle you chose to illuminate with the video. I probably like it more than usual because I like it when things explode or make messes with experiments when it is not the usual social use of the object: like Mentos and Pepsi or breaking eggs for fun.

However, you had some time in your video that was empty. Although your actions and the video were sped up, you could have put a little bit of music or sound effect that could have improved the time. And since you didn't have music or anything else going in the background, that could have been a perfect place to put it. Also, you could have cited yourself with a credits image or something at the end. You could have also cited your wife (who I am assuming was your cameraman).

  2. Entertaining video! I liked it. :) I like how you sped up the footage while you were placing things on the eggs, and how you didn't edit out your first attempt. This just shows science in action; it isn't always right the first time!

I do feel left wondering if 4 eggs really hold more weight, because you broke both egg combinations by standing on them.

    Awesome job John!
